As a picture of the living conditions of the old, pre-war army, it gives a good picture of life and priorities. Barracks life was communal which drew the soldiers into close-knit, almost family groups.

We could recoup the cost of housing the criminals by public hangings in major stadiums throughout the US. We could sell tickets, popcorn, beer and sodas, and make a ton of money.

Leadership is not an issue in congress, there is none. We don’t have a single statesman or leader in our government today.
