Why this Blog and Why Me?
WHY THIS BLOG? I love a good discussion, a reasoned argument, and give and take. Any subject can be discussed, pro or con. Please keep it civil and rational. If you think I’m an idiot, you can say it, but show me by giving a good argument.
WHY ME? I’m and opinionated, grumpy male that has lot of thoughts about a lot of things and my wife is tired of hearing them. I am a retired Army, retired fully certified teacher grades K-12, History BA, Okla Univ; Management MA, Webster Univ St. Louis, MO; Graduate study: Economics, So Dak St: Dramatic Theory, Univ of Oregon; History, Augusta State (GA).

The schools and our beloved Mustang are in a sad state of repair at the moment - need a little TLC

I agree with you to some extent. I would have some differences with Attila, but this is the place to discuss it all. Invite your friends and we can discuss things without hurting the feelings of certain very leftwing friends of ours.
Let me know what subjects you want to discuss and I’ll throw them out there.
Hmm — perhaps we should talk about Barak Hussein Obama and his run for Comander in Chief of our military - his refusal to wear an American Flag pin on his lapel - his wife being “proud to be an American for the first time in her life” and that sort of swill — It sure looks as if the only real choice in this election will be John McCain - and he would not be my first choice at all. Seems to be the only choice we will have though.
